Walking distance to a nearby wedding venue made this location very convenient. The cooked breakfast offered the next morning was delightful, showcasing the staff's excellent hospitality. the room felt damp and lacked adequate heating, leading to an uncomfortable night's sleep. the breakfast room struggled with the weather, affecting the overall dining experience.

Perfect for a short stay
We stayed for one night in a cozy double room and really liked it! The room was clean and comfy, and the shower was surprisingly decent for an old place. The pub has a warm vibe and nice drink options! Just a heads up, the rooms are pretty tiny, so moving around can be a bit tricky.

The warm welcome from the staff made my stay enjoyable, though the bathroom lacked privacy with gaps in the door. The cozy pub atmosphere added charm to the experience.

The location is perfect, just a short walk to the village and train station. I found the shower frustratingly inconsistent 😩. it was a decent stay.

I had a cozy stay here where I enjoyed a hearty breakfast every morning and tried their delicious evening meals that were cooked to perfection. The lovely sun terrace and beautiful garden area provided the perfect spots to relax after a long day. A minor downside was the shower's unpredictable temperature, but it didn’t really dampen my experience. 😊

Recommend it for ale enthusiasts
The character of the place was stunning, all those mismatched chairs and pretty china, took me right back to better days. And the ale, oh man, tried two different ones and they were both top-notch, expertly kept and refreshing.
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but you know, fair enough for what you get.

An Experience to Remember for All the Wrong Reasons!
Upon arrival, we were met with rude staff and a cluttered, unclean room. The breakfast served was not even close to being acceptable. Service here left us disappointed, especially since we had hoped for a delightful family getaway. Avoid the cooked breakfast entirely!
